ARE YOU OUR NEXT STORYTELLER?
Join our mission to collect 100 story videos from 100 participants around the country...
We are looking for participants interested in exploring storytelling to be involved in our new project, The Decameron Revisited. This is an ambitious online project inspired by the Italian medieval classic 'The Decameron', in which a group of people (in their own early version of a lockdown during the Black Death) pass the time by telling stories, 100 in all.

We have been running workshops this year with a rich variety of participants from across the country, sharing and creating stories and exploring the 6FootStories approach to storytelling. These virtual workshops have been a real highlight of our year, and we cannot wait to share the finished stories with you in the brand new digital archive. They span the personal, the magical, the tragic and the comic, and represent a little slice of the limitless potential for stories in us all.
As a company that spends most of its time touring here, there and everywhere, one of the hardest things about the current crisis is not being able to connect with locations and communities around the country. Part of the drive behind The Decameron Revisited is a desire to recreate that sense of touring, and work with a wide range of people from different parts of England. One of the positives of working online is that we can bring together groups of storytellers from as far afield as Cornwall, Brixton or Nottingham, and all share the same space.
We now want to open the archive to all. If you think you have a story to share then we want to hear from you. All you have to do is choose one of our ten themes and send in a story video of no longer than 3 minutes. You can film and edit the story however you like. Just send us your details below, and we'll let you know where to upload your story, ready for inclusion in the Archive.
