That's right, we were back at Boomtown for the third year in a row!
Building upon last year's success, The Dank Parish this year ran two massive venues at the UK's maddest festival, and our very own Jake and Nigel were chosen to lead the Church of the Sturdy Virgin. We put together a brand new team and took the Dank Parish's acclaimed interactive funeral show to dizzying new heights.
The Church of the Sturdy Virgin is an experience like no other, where you are in charge of your own funeral. We take you into our chapel, find out all your secrets, and deliver a bespoke funeral service for you and your loved ones, culminating in your body being lowered into a very real grave.
But it's not all about the funerals. This year we baptised punters in the faith of the Virgin for the first time. We heard all about their sins under cover of our Cardboard Box Confessionals™. We performed some gruesome Blood Weddings for the disgusting romantics out there. Members of our own Parish were possessed by evil spirits and exorcised accordingly. We took the residents of BoomTown through some important lessons at Sunday School. And we even had a takeover by a roaming DJ on the Saturday.
